"Only the Stars Are Real" is part of the
Randomism series, which are candid nude shots of me complimented by the first
ten thoughts that go through my head.
Inspiration for this piece came from the way that the sun refracted through hanging crystals by the window and lit up the dust mites in
the air. They seemed to me to be tiny galaxies.
This then turned my mind to the space race of the sixties, hence the Russian characters spelling out the title of the piece in English.
